For your language trip to Costa Rica, the modernly equipped language school in beautiful Sámara offers the perfect place to learn and relax, just a few steps from the beach.
The tropical campus on the Pacific coast of Guanacaste gives you the opportunity to effortlessly improve your Spanish skills through an interactive learning atmosphere. In the language course, you will be supported by accredited Spanish teachers, all of whom hold higher university degrees, as well as multilingual support staff. Classes are small and consist of international students, each with similar language proficiency levels.
The Language and Culture Center also maintains close ties with the local Tico community and actively supports them through social development projects. This enables you to experience culture up close in this location.

Sámara is perfect for a quiet surf and beach feeling, as well as for long nights in the bars. As well as relaxing on the beach, you can also explore the nearby national parks and reserves. Although small, this typical "Tico" town has everything you need for a language study trip in Costa Rica - supermarkets, a pharmacy, a bank, a medical clinic and various restaurants, stores and bars.
Apart from the beautiful beach, students on the Spanish course can visit nearby Nicoya, the colonial capital of the region, or the indigenous areas where traditional ceramic crafts can still be experienced today.
YOUR ACCOMMODATION IN SÁMARA
Your accommodation
In Sámara, you have the opportunity to live with a local host family. You will have your own room in the family home. This is a great opportunity to practise your newly acquired Spanish skills directly with the family and to improve your language skills. Language trip to intensify. Another advantage is that the host family cooks delicious Costa Rican food and breakfast and dinner are included for you.
You can also stay in a shared room in the student accommodation directly on the language school campus. The residence has five bedrooms of different sizes, each with two to five beds. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and have their own bathroom. There is an equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a large communal area with sun loungers, hammocks and dining tables. The accommodation also has a large garden where you can relax.

Lessons take place from Monday to Friday, five days a week, for four hours a day. In order to make learning as efficient as possible, various interactive activities, such as group work, are used in the language courses. Through a balance of theory and practice, you will get to know the language in a playful way and develop a feeling for expressing yourself according to your personality.
With a 20-hour group course per week, there is plenty of time for free time. Where better to spend it than in the breathtaking nature of Costa Rica! The language study trip offers you an ideal balance between lessons and leisure activities, such as participating in Latin American dance, cooking, surfing and yoga.
There is also the opportunity to take part in various tours with other Spanish course participants to explore the beautiful nature of Costa Rica. Lots of variety awaits you, because no two days are the same here.

LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN TAMARINDO, COSTA RICA
The school in Tamarindo offers a comprehensive program of individual and group lessons, and being in the surf town, it also provides surf lessons that can be booked in addition to the language course. Since its establishment in 1996, numerous students from around the world have successfully learned Spanish at this school, which speaks to the professionalism and quality of the instruction provided.
In the group course, the learning units are integrated into the cultural context and taught in a fun way. The groups have a maximum of 6 students and the teacher is able to respond to each individual. Both complete beginners and students with a Spanish level can take part in the lessons, which are adapted according to ability and level. Great emphasis is placed on developing listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in Spanish.
The school offers group lessons in the morning and afternoon. The schedule usually changes weekly.

Taking a language course while chilling under palm trees in the Caribbean sounds like a dream? In Puerto Viejo, you can make this dream come true!
The language school is located in the center of the town and just a few steps from the sea. The school works with qualified teachers who are native Spanish speakers and offers individual and group lessons depending on the level. Group lessons are held in small groups of three to six people and place great emphasis on interaction and active learning. They take place from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00, after which students have the rest of the day free.
A balanced overall concept between learning and relaxation is very important to the language school. That's why we offer students sports, yoga, meditation and other leisure activities to balance out their learning.

Puerto Viejo: the "old harbor" is the most beautiful spot in the country for many tourists. The Caribbean has a special flair and the beaches are beautiful. Many small bays with golden sandy beaches meander along the coast. In the shade of the palm trees and with a breeze from the sea, it is also easy to endure the midday heat.
There are natural national parks in Cahuita and Manzanillo where you can get to know the rainforests and their animal inhabitants. The sea is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and, on some beaches, surfing.
Your language course in Puerto Viejo can be combined with plenty of leisure activities. Although Puerto Viejo is small, it offers a lot. Numerous restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and supermarkets are located in the center, all within walking distance or reachable by bike. Moreover, there's a vibrant nightlife scene for partying, making your language trip perfect.

The language school offers its own accommodation with double and single rooms. The house is located directly next to the language school. The room is equipped with Wi-Fi, fan, mosquito net and cleaning service. You will stay in a double room with a shared bathroom.
In the accommodation, there is no kitchen available, but you will find numerous dining options in the vicinity. The house features a cozy common area with sofas and hammocks, a terrace, and a garden for relaxation and socializing with classmates. It is located in the center of Puerto Viejo, and the black beach "Playa Negra" is just a few hundred meters away.

Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica is a colorful destination. Biking allows you to explore restaurants and souvenir stores along the 13 km of coastline. Beaches like Playa Negra and Manzanillo National Park offer natural wonders and snorkeling opportunities. Playa Cocles attracts backpackers and locals with surf schools, restaurants and fire shows. The local cuisine is spicy with coconut milk, rice and beans with fish is a must. Nearby Cahuita offers an 8 km hiking trail in the national park to Punta Cahuita.
