At the diving school, great importance is attached to ensuring that students are well looked after and feel comfortable and safe. For this reason, lessons are taught in small groups with a maximum of 4 people at a time in order to be able to respond individually to each diving student. As the owner comes from Austria, lessons can be given in Spanish and English as well as German. In contrast to many tourist-oriented diving schools, our diving school attaches great importance to the quality of the training. You will only receive your certificate when you have really earned it and have mastered all the basic skills of diving. This will help you a lot in the future, as you will feel confident in the water and in handling the equipment. After your project, you will be able to enjoy diving anywhere in the world.
During your time at the diving school, you will also have the opportunity to start your own diving training alongside your work. In the first month you will complete the PADI Open Water Diver. This course is the first step into a new world, that of recreational diving. At the beginning, you will learn the most important facts about diving equipment, its construction and general practice in theory lessons. To protect the environment, lessons are taught exclusively using digital teaching materials. Once you have established a basis, the practical part of the course begins and you will complete your first training dives, first in shallow water and later in open water. Once you have successfully completed the training, you can complete the course with a short theory test and are allowed to dive to a depth of 18 meters with your certificate.
In the second month, the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver training begins. After you've slowly got to grips with the exciting world of recreational diving and have successfully completed your first dives, you start the second level of training for recreational divers. The main aim of this course is to improve your confidence and skills as a diver. You will also be able to deepen and expand your theoretical knowledge. For your Advanced Open Water Diver you will also test yourself more intensively in certain areas. There are countless options to choose from, including deep diving and navigation, fish identification, night diving and drift diving, to name but a few. This course also concludes with a theory exam.
In addition to your diving training, you will work in the diving school and provide support in various areas. Depending on your knowledge and skills, you can get involved exactly where you can help best. You will always be surrounded by like-minded travelers and will quickly get to know new people. And best of all: the program price also includes one additional dive per week, which you can then do with your new friends.
In the diving school you will PADI Open Water Diver and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver complete.
You will work approx. 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. You will help out in various areas of the diving school. Especially in the Marketing and various Office work the diving school needs your support. You will also write responses in review portals, assist with the daily guest check-in and, if necessary, help with the maintenance and care of the diving equipment.

The national language in Colombia is Spanish. A basic knowledge of Spanish is required for the project. As the owner of the diving school is from Austria, you can even speak German with her. However, to really get to know the country and the people, we recommend that you take a Spanish course. We will be happy to organize this for you.
