If you would like a transfer from the airport and a hostel booking for the first night, please let us know. If there is an introductory event for your arrival, you are of course invited. We will inform you about it one month before your departure.

If you have not yet booked the onward flight tickets, we will be happy to assist you with the booking. Please send us the ticket immediately after booking.

A new culture awaits you, one that is completely different from your home culture. This requires adaptation on your part and an interest in living this culture during your time abroad. Approach your project with an open mind and a positive attitude to have an unforgettable time.

You bear a certain responsibility for yourself when working abroad and in a certain way reflect your home country and its culture. Always treat other people with respect, i.e. appreciation, tolerance and honesty. Adherence to the respective program and project rules as well as mutual respect are basic prerequisites for successful teamwork and a pleasant coexistence.

In other countries, the clock sometimes ticks a little differently. You are in a different environment and of course unexpected situations can arise during a longer stay abroad. In such a case you can always contact us and we will be happy to help you as soon as possible. The expectations regarding time, punctuality and speed can vary from country to country. Therefore, please bring enough understanding and patience for the foreign mentality.

Your satisfaction and your personal development are close to our hearts. Of course, we will inform you in advance about what to expect on site, so that no false expectations arise on either side. Be aware that the standards in Latin America are not comparable to those in Germany. The accommodations are usually simpler, but everything is designed with a lot of love. Cleanliness is of particular importance to us in the selection of our accommodations. In the urbanized areas you usually have internet reception. But even this cannot be guaranteed depending on the location. But that's just the beauty - get involved with the local conditions and enjoy your time abroad as a "local".

Your stay abroad should, among other things, also develop you personally and give you the opportunity to learn to act independently. Of course, you are not on your own and we are always there for you in case of emergencies or any questions. However, you should also have enough motivation and initiative to be able to do things on your own.

By joining our program and accepting a program spot, you are committing to actively participate. You should not be too shy to lend a hand and get your fingers dirty. It should go without saying that you will abide by the rules of your employer and arrive at work on time. In addition, appropriate clothing should be worn at work. This varies depending on the employer and will be communicated to you in time before departure. For volunteer work: The projects live from the use of volunteers, they reserve you the place in the project, because they count on your help in this time. Therefore, it is only possible to terminate the project prematurely in absolutely exceptional cases.
