Learning to dive is a fascinating experience that you will never forget. Your PADI certification will make you see the world through different eyes, above and below the water. With the world’s safest and most comprehensive curriculum in the diving industry, you can achieve all your goals as a PADI diver.
With our 1-Month Program, you have the opportunity to complete the 4 courses of PADI Diver Education in one month, enabling you to dive safely in all of the world’s waters. The courses take place building on each other in the following sequence:

PADI Open Water Course
With the PADI Open Water Diver course you get the first level of training in recreational diving. You’ll learn basic diving theory, practice using equipment on land as well as in shallow water, and make four open water dives. Upon completion of this course, you will be certified to dive to 18m/60ft and you will have a lifetime certification to explore a whole new world.
Course duration:
3 days
Course content:
The course consists of 3 parts: Theory, pool and open water training.
You will learn by means of the PADI Open Water course videos and the PADI Open Water e-book basics of diving theory. Of course you will also get into the water. Your first training sessions will take place with equipment in confined water, such as a pool or lagoon.
Course schedule (flexible)
On day 1 you will learn how to use the diving equipment, first in the store and then in the water. Then in the afternoon you will get access to the e-learning and work through a questionnaire either in the store or in your apartment.
On day 2 and 3 you will do 2 dives each. In the afternoon the theory part is completed with a small exam.
PADI Advanced Open Water Course
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the second level of training for recreational divers. The focus is on improving your confidence and skills as a diver. You will expand your knowledge with in-depth theory and five open water dives with different focuses.
Course duration:
3 days
Course content:.
In total you will do 5 dives. To be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver, you must complete two specialties: Deep Diving & Navigation. In addition, three other specialties of your choice. You can choose from the following list:
- Fish Identification
- Current Diver
- Night Diver
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Underwater naturalist
- Underwater photography
For each dive you must learn the appropriate theory, which is also tested.
PADI Rescue Diver Course
This course is designed to prepare you to solve problems under pressure and give you all the knowledge you need to recognize and handle difficult situations. You will learn to avoid problems before they actually occur.
The Rescue Diver course builds on your existing skills. After three days of intensive training in the classroom and in the water, you will have expanded your knowledge of diving and improved your diving skills. This training can help you save lives and prepare you to respond appropriately to diving emergencies.
Course duration:
3 days
Course content:
The Rescue Diver course lasts 3 days and is divided into theoretical and practical units:
- Theory: Before we start training in the water, you will acquire the appropriate theory. At the end of the theory there will be a written multiple-choice exam.
- Exercise: 2 dives per day (3 days = 6 dives). You practice in open water training dealing with emergency situations in realistic simulations.
Emergency First Responder Course
The Emergency First Response (EFR) course teaches emergency medical procedures and gives you the confidence to provide assistance in an emergency. The course is divided into theoretical and practical parts and is completed in one day.
The skills you learn can be used in any field. Using books and videos, you will learn the necessary theory, and you will apply this knowledge practically during the course. The theoretical part includes a final multiple-choice exam.
Course topics include, for example:
-
- Basic Life Support (CPR) and rescue breathing at amateur level
-
- Prevention and care of shock
-
- Spinal cord injury
- Use of barriers to reduce the risk of transmission
-
- Basic first aid and first aid kit considerations
You wonder what a Dive Master is and what you can do with the training afterwards? As a trained Dive Master you can work in any PADI dive center in the world and accompany customers on their dives. A fantastic occupation, for example for the semester break.

Procedure:
The Dive Master takes 2 months. In the first month you go through the PADI basic courses of the 1-month program and in the second month you complete your Dive Master training.
Background:
This course is the first level of professional training in recreational diving and opens the door for you to work in the diving industry. The school has already trained many divers to become Dive Masters and it strongly believes that the best way to learn is not just to read books and do simulated exercises, but by actually helping to train real students. Therefore, this course is conducted as a practicum and should be completed over several weeks. You will need to read relevant theory and pass the final single-choice exams.
Course Content:
This course teaches you to take leadership of dives and responsibility for activities. Through theoretical lessons, in-water exercises and workshops, and practical assessments, you’ll develop the skills to organize and lead a variety of dive activities.
You will work with students in real courses, helping them to overcome fears and supporting them in their learning progress. You will act as an assistant in the diving school. This is where your overall performance counts. You will also strengthen your endurance in the water and hone your rescue skills. In our PADI Dive Master training you will assist several times in the courses, so that you can work more independently with every following training.
The goal of the training is to teach you to be a responsible dive guide who works independently and with safety in mind.
The theoretical part includes the following topics:
- The roles and characteristics of a divemaster
- Supervision of general diving activities
- Supporting student divers in training
- Increasing knowledge of diving theory
- Physics of diving
- Diving equipment
- Decompression theory and the EPLR
- Programs conducted by the divemaster
- The business of diving and your diving career
Working in the dive center:
In general, the Dive Master course is more like an internship than a normal dive course. You will work with the instructors, dive masters and office staff to learn all aspects of running a dive center. From selling courses and dive trips, greeting guests, filling out forms, finding the right equipment, preparing the boat and briefing guests. You will learn from professionals what to consider and how to assist as an instructor in training students. This includes of course the maintenance of diving equipment. In addition, the team is happy about support in social media activities.
In the PADI Dive Master training you will improve your leadership skills, learn to speak with composure in front of groups (in different languages if necessary), improve your planning, organizational and time management skills and understand group dynamics. You will develop a better understanding of body language, be able to better assess people, learn or strengthen sales techniques, understand the need to protect the environment, and acquire or improve language skills (English and Spanish).
Through theoretical classes, in-water exercises and workshops, and practical assessments, you will develop the ability to organize and lead a variety of diving activities.
Our diving school on the Caribbean coast of Colombia is run by an Austrian woman who emigrated to Colombia a few years ago to dedicate her life to her great passion, diving. It offers a wide range of courses, for certified and non-certified divers, for beginners and professionals. The school has its headquarters in the fishing village of Taganga, a small paradise. The unbeatable advantage of this location is the proximity to the Tayrona National Park, where daily diving excursions depart.
Instruction is given in small groups of no more than 4 people – so that each student can be treated individually. Instruction is given in Spanish, English or even German. The diving school attaches great importance to the quality of the training. You will not only get your certificate, you will have really earned it at the end of the courses and feel safe in the water. To protect the environment, the theory lessons are taught exclusively with digital learning materials.
Taganga is a small fishing village on the beautiful Caribbean coast of Colombia about 5km north of Santa Marta. Here you will find a great beach and many hip restaurants, cafes and stores along the main street. Taganga has developed a lot in the last few years and is now known as a paradise to relax and a fantastic place to learn scuba diving at a reasonable price. The village is located next to one of Colombia’s natural wonders and highlights – Tayrona National Park. It is full of tropical forests and breathtaking beaches. The trip there is only a few minutes by boat. And best of all, the national park offers not only breathtaking nature, but some of the most unique diving spots in the world.

You will stay in a private room in Taganga. The room is equipped with everything you need to live. In the common area there is a kitchen where you can cook.
