To volunteer in Guatemala, you generally do not need a Visa, if you are staying in the country for less than 90 days. When you enter the country, you will usually receive a residence permit directly at the airport. If you want to stay longer, there are options to extend your stay locally. For Guatemala, the Standard vaccinations recommended. Depending on the type of trip and region, vaccinations such as hepatitis A, typhoid or rabies may also be advisable. Individual advice from a travel medical center before your departure is recommended.

The costs for volunteering in Guatemala depend on the duration of your stay and the project you choose. As a rule, accommodation, on-site support, organization and often meals are already included. Additional costs are incurred for flights, insurance and personal expenses.

With us the payment of the program costs takes place in several steps. After booking, you will receive all the important documents and information you need to prepare for your trip, such as confirmation of participation and the invoice. 

Usually a Deposit of 10% directly after booking to secure your place in the project. The The balance will be paid four weeks before your departure made.

You can do different projects one after the other (e.g. Social project + Animal welfare + Hostel Experience). Different countries can also be combined. Your stay can be flexibly extended or supplemented with additional programs.
